Sapatinhos/botas de dormir / Bed/Night Socks

Aproveitando um par de quadradinhos iguais que recebi há muito tempo atrás, lembrei-me de os utilizar para fazer botas de dormir. O primeiro par saiu um pouco atabalhoado mas os  6 pares que se seguiram foram aperfeiçoando a "técnica". Fácil, EXTRAORDINARIAMENTE FÁCEIS DE FAZER..  Vou colocar um passo a passo, não demora.
Até lá fica a imagem da primeira tentativa.

Taking the oportunity of using a pair of squares  with the same colour I was given long time ago, I decided to transform them on a pair of bed socks. This first attemp was well succeded but it needed improvements. After these 6 new pairs are now already done, already "improved" They are EXTRAORDIARILY EASY TO DO.  I will prepare a  DIY soon.  leave you today with the fisrt attemp.

VERGONHA!!! SHAME ON ME!!!!!

É  verdade, tenho vergonha do tempo que já passou desde que  escrevi a última mensagem. Contudo, fazer o quê?    Ou "blogo" ou faço sapatinhos de dormir e capas  para os senhores e senhoras que estão  internados nos Hospital de Portimão. A escolha é óbvia. Por isso me atrasei nos comentários.  Mas valeu a pena. Há dois sábados atrás entreguei  às Voluntárias do hospital a deliciosa contudo pequena quantidade de 5 capas e 6 pares de botas/sapatinhos de dormir. E a prová-lo estão as fotos. Neste momento há mais 6 pares de botas/sapatos  prontinhos para entregar. Capas?  :-(  só uma. ...  Enfim , lá chegarei.

Perdoam-me a ausência, verdade?   

Indeed.  Shame on me.  Long time since I wrote the last post. However, what can I do ? The choice between  posting  and knit /crochet bed/night  socks and capes /small shauls  is obvious. I was requested to make those items for the persons that are at the Hospital. The weather is already chilling and it seems some feet and shoulders need help. I have delivered  two Saturdays ago 6 pairs of bed socks and 5 capes. All knitted or  made on crochet. Now I have 6 more and just :-( one cape. Well, I will keep trying. Having the previous in consideration you forgive me the absence right?

APELO /APPEAL

Atendendo a que o objectivo deste blogue  é a solidariedade,   seja ela para quem for, peço ajuda em termos particulares.

O meu sobrinho, que tem actualmente 23  anos,  começou há  cerca de 3 semanas a fazer hemodiálise. Embora  ainda pendente o resultado da biósia,  encontra-se neste momento a fazer sessões  de 4 horas todas as 2ªs, 4ªs. e 5ª.s feiras. Os efeitos secundários do tratamento estão sendo muito difícies em termos físicos e emocionais. para ele e, por sequência, para todos nós.

Pergunto a quem me lê se  tem conhecimento de alguém que, vivendo a mesma situação,  esteja a fazer um qualquer tratamento alternativo que ajude a colmatar esses efeitos secundários.

Agradeço antecipadamente qualquer informação.   OBRIGADA.

Having in mind that the aim of this blog is the solidarity, for the first time  I use it  for private reasons.

My nephew  , actually with 23 years old, has initiated  3 weeks ago sessions of dialysis, due to the failure of his kidneys. Although the result of the final  test is still pending, is is having  4  hours sessions  every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The collateral effects are being very difficult    both on physical and emotional  for him and for all of us.

Do you know someone living  the same situation , who is having complementary treatments, holistic, homeopathic, etc. allowing to minimize the collateral effects? I thank you any information  with all my heart.  THANK YOU.

Projectos novos, resultado das novas parcerias. 

Ontem estive numa reunião da Flor Amiga. Estou muito contente de fazer parte do grupo. Entre os goles de chá e uma fatia de bolo tamanho gigante falou-se de coisas muito interessantes, tudo no sentido de aproximar mais as pessoas umas das outras e colmatar, dentro do que é possível a situação em que muitos de nós se vêm neste momento.

Irei disso dando conhecimento.

New projects, resulting from new associations.

Yesterday I attended a meeting of Flor Amiga ( a charity association with a wide range of action). I am so happy for being part of the group. Among cups of tea a an huge slice of cake very important things were discussed, always with the aim of approaching people to one another and help, within our capacity "ease" the hard life some of us are living actually. I will keep you posted of the developments.

I have taken with me  for donation, of a lot of baby and child  clothing I was given by those who help the Tricot. I am very proud to be part of this group.

Um montão. Ainda desordenado.  Conjuntamente com outros donativos. à espera de quem separe as peças e as  distribua pelos cabides e prateleiras.

Já de saída, lembrei-me que falta o símbolo da Associação. A foto não é a melhor, como é típico de mim. Com tempo logo tirarei outra.

VOLTEI / I'M BACK

Embora ainda haja muito caminho para andar nesta procura de mim, o certo é que preciso de outras coisas também. E há uma causa pela qual continuar lutando.  Ma'inha, voltei.

Recebi do Sr. Carlos Carmelindo, de Lagos  este donativo maravilhoso. Roupa de bebé, criança e adulto. Parte será "adoptada" pelo Tricot ( a de bebé, para os nosso enxovais)  e o resto  será entregue na Cáritas em Portimão. Não tenho dúvidas que saberão dar-lhe o destino  certo.

Although  still there is a lot to walk on this search for my inner me , a fact is that I cannot avoid missing a few other things. And there is a Cause to keep fighting for. Mom , I am back.

I have received from Mr. Carlos Carmelindo, living in  Lagos this huge gift. Clothes from babies, kids and adult. Part is being "adopted" by the Tricot ( for the babies). The remaining  will be given to Cáritas, in Portimão.  I am absolutely sure that  they  will know  who to give them .
