Mais umas coisinhas para os nossos bebés. Um casaquinho para o menino que já nasceu e outro que fica de stock. Tenho cá um feeling que mais virão. 

A few more things for the babies CAV. A jacket for the  one born in September and another one for stock. I have the feeling that these 6 will not be the only ones.

Desculpem as poucas actualizações esta semana. Tendo que escolher entre o terminar as coisas  para o enxoval que estamos a preparar para o bebé que nasce agora em Março e o actualizar o blogue, não  há como duvidar. Mas prometo que daqui a uns dias vão chover fotos .

Sorry for the few updates this week. Having to choose between getting things done for the "basket" we are preparing referring the baby that is going to be  born in March and  the updates on the blog, there's no doubt of what to choose. But I promise that in a few days will "rain" photos.

PEDIDO/APPEAL

 No âmbito do projecto C.A.V.- onde estamos empenhadas, faço um pedido a quem me lê:

 Tem , ou conhece quem tem e esteja disposto a dar,  uma alcofa de bebé? Este é um elemento que gostaria muito de incluir  na "cesta" básica que estamos a preparar para receber o nosso bebé  que nasce já  já nos primeiros dias de  Março e me está a ser difícil de obter,  num contacto mais reduzido. 

Agradeço antecipadamente  a ajuda, seja ela com a tão desejada  alcofa quer, "tão só" ( que é imenso)  divulgando este pedido que agora faço. 

Within the project CAV-where we are engaged, make a request to my readers:
Do you have , or know someone who has and is willing to give away,  a portable baby crib in fabric? This is an element that would love to include in the  basic"basket" that we are preparing for our baby who is about  to born in the first days of March and I  am having difficulties on  getting it on my private approaches.

Thanks in advance for  your help, either being with the desired carrycot or , "just" (which is huge) by sharing this  request of mine.

MAIS UM /ONE MORE

Mais um casaquinho, quase quase terminado. Falta só o ponto de caranguejo no remate por causa da mudança de cores, ficando, assim, como deve ser. Bonito.  Bom fim de semana a todos. Vou para o meu Alentejo. 

Another  baby jacket, almost  completed. Is just missing the finnishing touch all around . Due to the changing colors, the finnishing does not look nice, as it must. Have a great weekend you all. I'm going to Alentejo.

PROJECTO C.A.V. ( CENTRO DE APOIO À VIDA)

O CAV, equipamento social, integrado no sistema de ação social, apoia e acompanha mulheres grávidas ou puérperas, que se encontrem em situação de risco emocional ou social, favorecendo o desenvolvimento de uma maternidade digna e responsável. 

Este é o novo projecto a que o Tricot de Afectos se lançou e do qual tenho vindo a falar ultimamente.

Feitos que estão os contactos pertinentes e obtidas as respostas que necessitávamos, eis-nos lançadas em mais um projecto bonito, em que os beneficiários vão ser bebés. Uns já nascidos e outros quase quase a chegar.

O nosso objectivo é oferecer a estes bebés aquilo que consideramos necessário para que , chegados a este mundo, para além do amor de quem lhe deu vida  e dos que o vão cuidar daqui por diante,  tenham uma dose de mimo extra traduzida em algumas peças básicas  feitas a muitas mãos, por muitas Tias,  literalmente de Norte a Sul do País. 

O nosso próximo  bebé vai nascer já no início de Março pelo que estamos todas  em franca laboração para que, na medida do nosso possível e sempre no espírito do Tricot ( as peças têm sempre que feitas por nós, quer de raiz quer intervencionando uma que teve que ser comprada feita), esse bebé, que vai ser um menino, seja recebido com tudo a que tem direito.

Assim, estamos lançadas  na preparação das "cestas básicas" .

Para os bebés que já nasceram, uma menina nascida em Agosto e um menino  nascido em Setembro, e embora estes estejam já fora do "limite" do projecto pois está pensado para os que vão nascer, também se estão a preparar  miminhos dos quais  os casaquinhos que anexo fazem parte. 

The CAV, social  project, integrated in  system of social action, supports and accompanies  pregnant women who are at emotional or social risk , favoring the development of a dignified and responsible parenthood.

This is a new project  where   we, knitted affections are commited to ,  and  of  which I have been talking about lately.
Made  the relevant contacts and obtained the answers we needed, we have now launched a  beautiful project, where beneficiaries will be babies. Some are already born and others almost almost there.

Our goal is to offer these babies what we consider necessary  in order that arriving to this crazy world, beyond the love of one who gave you life and that will take care henceforth have an extra dosis of  love translated into a few basic pieces made by many hands from many Aunts, literally from North to South of the country

Our next baby will be born in early March so we're all  laboring  hard in order  that, as far as possible for us and always in the spritit of the Knitted Affections (all the pieces must be handmade, either from scratch or , in the case it is not possible, working on it, making such piece our own), this baby, who is a boy, be  welcome  with everything he is entitled to.
So we are focused on the  the preparation of " basic baskets."
For those  babies who were born already, a girl born in August and a boy born in September, despite the fact  they  are already out of the "limit" of the project as it is  meant for newborns, we  also are kniting love, of  which the jackets attached are part .

Não fugi / I'm here

Pois, parecia que sim, não é? Mas não.  Foi um encontro  "imediato"  com um marafado de um vírus. Chegou escondidinho e foi fazendo estragos até ser descoberto. 

Mas lixou-se.

 A César o que é de César, que é o mesmo que dizer  que o computador é meu. 

Cá estou documentando o que fiz e  recebi  durante a semana e o que vivi no fim de semana e que partilho encantada. O (des)mérito das fotos é minha, como não podia deixar de ser. Mas como isso não me interessa grande coisa, partilho o que tenho .

Já posso actualizar o blogue e o facebook.

Junto as fotos do que foi acontecendo até agora, inclusive o meu encontro com uma borboleta. Passou do junco para a minha mão, correu todas a palma e , encontrado o polegar, qual joaninha "avoa, avoa" , num bater de asas foi visitar uma qualquer flor ali perto. Foi um momento sem palavras. Só a extasiada contemplação de um ser"grande"  da  beleza de um ser  substancialmente mais  "pequeno"..

Well, it seemed that I've runned away right? I was caught by surprise by a nasty  virus. It came hidden and did some damages  until we spotted it. Bye, bye!!!!!

To Caesar what is Caesar's. The computer is mine, again.  So  finally  I can   update the blog and facebook.

I'm sharing what happened until now, including my encounter with a butterfly.  With its  tiny legs, this liitle beautiful things passed from the  reed  to  my hand,  walked all along my hand up the the  thumb,  like a ladybug and flew away , surely to a  flower nearby. It was a speechless. moment . Only the rapt contemplation by a "big"  human  of the   a substantially "smaller"  beauty.The lack of quality is 100% mine. However, the feeling I am sharing is much bigger than my inability.

Mais Casaquinhos e nova Ajudante /More baby jackets and my new Assistant

Preciosa, devo acrescentar. Emprestada pela  fofa da Cláudia, a Filha da minha vizinha Ana. Esta nova Ajudante (sim  porque é uma menina!) veio tornar mais fácil a "visualização" dos tamanhos para  quem me lê. Os casaquinhos têm , por ora, dois tamanhos: o considerado tamanho zero que serve na perfeição para um recém nascido com tamanho "normal"-  cerca  de 50 cms. O outro, conforme se pode ver pelas imagens, serve bem a um bebé até 3 meses. E por aí me fico, como disse, por ora.

Estes casaquinhos, integrados num conjunto de lençóis, fraldas, mantinhas, botinhas, babetes etc.  irão ser doados a mamãs (futuras ou já com os seus rebentos) em situação de fragilidade económica. 

Para onde irão? A ver vamos mais à frente. Ainda não cheguei ao fim das "negociações". Contudo , darei, como sempre, boa conta do que  vai acontecendo. Até lá,  Mãos Ajudantes, trabalhemos.  

Precious, I might add. Borrowed from a sweet little girl Claudia, Daugher of my neighbour Ana. This new Assistant (she's a girl!) has become easier the "preview"  of the sizes for my readers. The jackets have for now two sizes:  zero size and considered as serving perfectly  for a newborn with "normal" size - about 50 cms length. The other, as seen in the images, serves well to an infant up to 3 months. And so I am, as I said, for now.

These jackets, as part of a set of sheets, diapers, blankets, booties, bibs, etc.  will be donated to Moms (future or already with their babies) in a situation of economic weakness.

Where will they go? We shall see later. Not yet reached the end of the "negotiations". However, I will, as always,  render you a good account of what is happening. Until then, Assistant Hands,  let's keep working.
