ÚLTIMA GOTA / LAST DROP

Recebidinha ontem. A última gota deste oceano imenso que é a solidariedade.  Como diria a minha Ma'ínha," que nunca lhe caiam ( ou doam) as mãos".

Received yesterday. The last drop of this huge ocean called solidarity. Someone deserves to be called human. 

Miminhos recebidos/Sweet tiny things received

Eu tinha   dito que logo colocava as fotos dos miminhos que recebi  da Ana Batista e que tinha esquecido no escritório, conjuntamente com os que trouxesse da minha Nina. Parte da informação não se verifica porque os gorrinhos tão castiços que a minha Mana fez ficaram na casa dela pois eu não consegui recolhê-los. Uma intoxicação alimentar trocou-me as voltas no domingo e deixou-me por um bom par de  horas tão indefesa quanto um bebé. Enfim,  depois de uns buracos " no fato" para o soro e as análises o mal estar já passou.  Ficam então as fotos que consegui fazer . Aninhas, muito obrigada querida. São Lindos.

 Estou a ver se a convenço a fazer mais uns tantos. Veremos se ela vai "na conversa". 

A few days ago I said I would post asap a few photos os the sweet little things I have  received from Ana Batista which I had  forgotten  at the office, together with the ones I would bring this weekend from my Sister's. Some of the information is not correct as the ones  my Sister has done still remain at her place because I  was unable to collect them.. A food poisoning  altered all my plans yesterday  leaving me  for a  good couple of hours as helpless as a baby. Anyway, it's over, after a few "holes on my suit" for the treatment and the analysis. Here are  the photos I have made with Ana's gifts. Thank you my dear. the are gorgeous.

My goodness am I special on making photos or what?  I wanted to show the detail and I have got this. I promise I will make another one and make the lovely hat justice.

I am trying to convince her to do a few more.  Let's see what she decides.

Contente ao quadrado / "Double" happy

Estou mesmo feliz. Hoje recebi uma encomendinha  (que logo coloco a foto pois esqueci a encomenda no escritório, grrrrrrr) e recebi do Padre da minha paróquia a garantia de que, à semelhança do seu antecessor, também ele irá   participar no projecto doando a sua "palavra" aos paroquianos. Quão importante é essa palavra!!!  Que aliado tão importante o Tricot tem ! Estou mesmo muito contente pois o meu stock de lãs ficará "por um fio"  quando entregar as 14 mantas  no Lar Esperança e há muita gente a quem aquecer neste inverno. Vou voltar a falar com ele daqui a quinze dias deste assunto.   Disso darei depois conta, como sempre.

Até lá, vamos trabalhando. Há muito para fazer.

I am delighted! The postman brought an envelope with tiny lovely things, which I cannot show 'cause I forgot it at the office ( grrrrr) and I managed to speak with the Priest of my community. And he said YES!!!!!!! He will participate on the project by donating "his words" . Are those words measurable? No.... Our Tricot just got a HUGE ally. I feel very happy because, following the delivery of the 14 blankets at the Hope Nursing Home, my stock is almost resumed to " one thread". I will talk with him again within 15 days. I will inform about it, as usual.

In the meantime, there is a lot to do.

Perdida em combate?? Não, tricotando/Lost in combat? No, just knitting

Verdadinha. E os dias emagreceram tanto. Socorro!  Tanto para fazer e tão pouco tempo. Enfim. Nada de nervos. Havemos de fazer tudo.  Com os gorros que ainda faltam chegar das minhas novas mãos colaboradoras e os da minha Nina , dentro de uns dias poderei dizer JÁ TEMOS OS GORROS TODOS e SOBRA!!!  Não é um espectáculo???. Pois, mas isso é só daqui a uns dias.

Entretanto já estou magicando noutra coisa. Logo digo.

Cross my heart. Can you believe how much shorter our days are actually? God help us! So little time and so much to do!!! Anyway. No stress. Everything will be done . I believe I can say that, when I get the hats from the other sets of hands  we have, brand new, together with my sister's, I can than say that WE HAVE MORE HATS THAN REQUESTED!!!!!. ISN'T IT GREAT?? yes but that will be only in a few days .. Meanwhile I am preparing something.. Tell you later.

ACHEI!! / FOUND!!!!

Escolhida está a instituição que vai receber as primeiras mantas deste ano. E, surpresa surpresa, desta vez é um lar de idosos, bem pertinho, aqui em Portimão. Chama-se  Lar Esperança. E a parte melhor ainda está para contar !. É que acabámos por criar uma "parceria".  As utentes desse Lar aceitaram engrossar a fileira das mãos disponíveis e a responsável pela Instituição, Dra. Abigail  disse-me que  iriam participar também  com as lãs. Que posso pedir mais? Damos Amor tricotado,  recebemos Amor  ao quadrado  :-))).

Assim crescem os Afectos. Todos os dias.  Castiço.

Is already chosen the instituition where we will deliver the first  blankets we have already made or on their way of this season. and, surprise surprise those receiving them are not the youngest but the eldest. It is a nursing home  with a very suggestive name- Hope-. Great isn't it?  Well, the best is not yet mentioned.... Besides receiving the blankets the Ladies have accepted to "donate" their hands for knitting and the Dra. Abigail, the person representing the institution said they also would give the material. Great! What else can I ask?  We give knitted Love  and have in return Love "by square" . This way, everyday, the Affections grow.

BUSCANDO/SEARCHING

Embora o tricot faça "perninhas" em relação ao objectivo, quer  tenha sido com os lençóis ( hoje vou entregar mais uns tantos à Catraia e ver o quanto cresceram os bebés desde que lá estive a última vez) quer seja agora com os gorros para o SOS Miminhos, não quero desviar-me do  principal que são as mantas, amor  tricotadinho ou "crochetadinho" de forma incondicional de muitos para  proveito  dos mais defavorecidos.

Nesse sentido hoje vou também contactar o Padre da minha área de residência, que já não é o que me ajudou no passado, pelo que há que estabelecer novas pontes. As palavras dele valem ouro  e eu vou tentar que ele seja meu "parceiro". Penso que não vou ter dificuldades, como não tive antes, uma vez que aquilo que representa é amor incondicional por todos os seres .Logo dou contas do resultado.

De igual modo , vou contactar os responsáveis pela outra instituição que existe aqui em Portimão. Certamente o que eles mais precisam não é aquilo que o Tricot  lhes pode dar mas de alguma ajuda seremos.

Enquanto escrevo, o sol rompeu as nuvens e iluminou a minha sala. Será um sinal?  Como acredito que nada acontece por acaso, termino a mensagem acreditando que sim.

Although the Tricot  has  diversified its goal with the baby sheets ( I will deliver a few more at Catraia today and will take the oportunity to see how big are the two new babies I saw last time I was there) and the hats being prepared to SOS Miminhos, I do not want to forget the mail goal  of  the Tricot, which are the knitted/chochet blankets, lovely tune played by several hands, specialy made for a few  to enjoy.

With that aim today  I am going to contact the priest  of my  residential area. I had previous (and precious) help. His words are made of gold and I will try to gather him as a "partner". I think I will not have difficulties as I did not had before, as what he represents is also unconditional love towards all living creatures. I will report the result.

Likewise, I will try to contact the representatives of another institution here in Portimão. Surely what the most need is not what the Tricot has to offer but we will be a help of some kind.

Meanwhile writing this the sun, which has been covered by clouds has just iluminated my living roon. Will this be a sign? I believe that nothing has by hazard so I accept it as so.

Mais gorros e casaquinho / More hats and tiny coats

New elements just arrived. Three new hats made by my Friend Fátima and a baby coat. Someone made it. Does not want to be identified. Let us call her just "Maria". Thank you.
