A nova peça esperando por mim...

Pois ... é verdade. Isto vicia.  Estes são os últimos do grupo  quase quase pronto a entregar e mais "qualquer coisa" de adianto  :-)

Hoje vou encontrar-me com uma futura colaboradora que respondeu ao meu apelo por tecidos/fitas/entremeios/qualquer coisa para dar um ar de graça aos do próximo grupo. Tenho o meu stock quase esgotado. Façamos figas.  Logo reporto o resultado. Susan, aí vou eu!

Here they are.  The remaining of the group 20 and "a little something" already referring the next group.  This afternoon I will meet my next  "assistant". She heard my request for ribbon/fabric/whatever to embellish the next group and is willing to help. My stock is almost expired. Keep fingers crossed. I will report later. Susan , my dear, wait for me ! I am going !!

E VÃO 20!

Acabadinhos de contar. 20 ! Estou eufórica. Foram mesmo como as cerejas.

Agora só falta juntá-los aos lençóis de baixo  e às fronhas que estão a ser costurados pelas minhas duas mui queridas "assistentes", D. Maria dos Santos e D. Elisabete.

Já escolhi a instituição que os vai receber, pelo que só faltam os últimos detalhes que, logicamente, darei mais à frente. Sinto-me mesmo, mesmo, muito contente.

I am delighted! 20 sheets already done, just waiting to be reunited with the other part of the pair and the pillow cases, which are being prepared by my two "partners"  recruited for this adventure, D. Maria dos Santos e D. Elisabete. The institution who will be receiving the set is already chosen, just missing a few details. As usual I will post everything, part before, part after the  delivery. I just cannot wait.

Cá estamos. Quatro jogos mais, resultado do trabalho do fim de semana.
Here we are. Four brand new baby sheets, resulting from the work done on the weekend.  la la ri la la .... 

INDO /GOING

Fim de semana com o meu Papi. Daqui a pouco arranco para o Alentejo ver o meu Pai. Como sempre, levo diferentes coisas para fazer porque me é impensável não ter vários "projectos" correndo ao mesmo tempo. Sempre assim foi e sempre assim será. Assim irão os lençóis e as peças que em proveito próprio faço no âmbito do Pontos & Nós para fazer "naquelas" horas em que ou se está na conversa, ou dormindo uma sesta ou fazendo qualquer coisa. Tenho a feira à porta e preciso de material. Isso fica para depois para mostrar noutro departamento uma vez que, embora a execução corra misturada, os objectivos são muito diferentes.

Deste modo e atendendo a que não vai haver actualização do blogue até domingo à noite ou segunda   desejo um bom fim de semana a todos e , principalmente, sejam felizes.

This weekend I'm out. Will be driving 526 kms  to visit my Dad. Both ways.  I enjoy it very much. The  high temperature  does not bother me  for a few reasons and, once on the road comes a moment that it is just me, the ron-ron of the engine and my Guardian Angel who, of course always goes with me.  It is a freedom experience which I am privileged to enjoy every fortnight.  Considerations apart, the trip always mean taking with me several  pieces to do as I always have various projects running at the same time. That is me. Of course are already separated the sheets and other pieces I need to prepare for the fair.  Later I will show the other on the other blog "Pontos & Nós as are for my own recreation and although running together the object is completely different.

Therefore, the update  only will happen tomorrow evening, on my return to my own nest or Monday. One way or the other I would like to wish all my visitors a great weekend and mainly, mainly, be happy.

NOVA CONTRIBUIÇÃO/ ANOTHER DONATION

Verdadinha! Fui deixar lençóis para fazer baínhas  e trouxe outra peça de tecido. Maravilha. Uma bênção esta D. Elisabete. Repetindo o que a minha Ma'inha sempre dizia "que nunca lhe caiam as mãos".

 A woman of her word. She said that would give me the other piece of cotton and she just did. I left with her part of the sheets I have been preparing and brough that huge piece of fabric. Mrs. Elisabete is "something". My Mom used to say  on situations such as this something  I translate a "I wish your hands keep being busy giving". And I subscribe.

CUMPRINDO O QUE PROMETI / KEEPING UP TO MY PROMISE

Aqui estão os lençóis onde ocupei a minha preguiçosa ( ah, ah ...) tarde  de sábado.  Incrível o que um bocadinho de tecido , uma fita ou um bordado podem fazer. Todos  prontinhos para se juntarem aos de baixo que não vale a pena mostrar pois  são todos brancos.  Neste momento temos 10 conjuntos feitos, um a meio caminho  e ainda não sei quantos para fazer. Amanhã vou levar uns tantos para a D. Elisabete que me deu o tecido e dar uso à máquina de costura que está mortinha para trabalhar. Se tudo correr assim,  dentro de duas semanas estaremos em condições de entregar.

Here  on display the work I have been doing on my lazy (???) saturday afternoon. Just  missing the other sheet and sets are ready. It is incredible  what a piece of ribbon, fabric  or embroidery  can do. I keep looking at that glorious pile  and count 10 done, one is half way and  there are approx. 8 or 9 sets still to go. Tomorrow I will take them "for a walk" to meet  the former owner of the fabric and her sewing machine.   If things keep progressing  this way, probably in two weeks time we can make the delivery.
